Visionary Solutions Architect - Digital Identity & Security
Job Description:
The Visionary Solutions Architect will manage projects throughout their lifecycle from technology evaluation through solution deployment. Combining keen business acumen with a mastery of technology, you will help develop technology and work to deliver a robust, scalable architecture that will enable In-Q-Tel to execute its strategic plan.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the competitive landscape of the technical field and then meeting with companies that offer the best products.
- Working with a team to develop strategies and enterprise architectures.
- Evaluating technologies and deals for their relevance and impact to the Intelligence Community's mission.
- Preparing technical assessment reports and statements of work.
- Working with partners and potential partners on technical issues.
- Working with federal government agency users.
- Planning and supporting solution transfer efforts.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying new technologies for large enterprises; commitment to continued understanding of new technologies and their strategic advantages.
- Conversant in the practical issues associated with a broad number of security subjects such as: system audit; policy enforcement; authentication; cryptography; common authentication practices and protocols; steganography; communication systems and protocols; software security; common security issues associated with new technologies; network security; common criteria; and security testing practices.
- Capable of analyzing complex problems, identifying root cause issues, generating a concise summary of analysis, and presenting recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with technical teams and customers.
- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.
- Experience in supporting sales teams and activities.
- 3-5 years experience
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
